To our Marketing and Communication team, we are looking for a strategic and inspiring Acting Head of Internal Communication to join us temporarily for one year during a parental leave - someone who hits the ground running and creates excitement about our business by an internal communication that brings insight, direction and energy to the entire global organization with 8 200 employees.
Your mission - Ensuring and supporting the direction of our internal communication
In this position, you are responsible for the strategic direction of the global internal communication as well as press and corporate PR for Sandvik Coromant, planning communication activities and managing successful execution in line with our company and brand strategy. Ensuring an informed organization that is ready to reach objectives is a major part of your assignment, and you do so by working alongside managers to communicate in an effective way and offering support using your expertise within the area. You take lead in the digital development of our internal communication and secure world-class quality in global activities, processes and brand appearance.
Leading and engaging a global and diverse communication team of ten employees to take necessary steps to be in the forefront of internal communication is essential, and you build sustainable relations with our different stakeholders. Additionally, you are an active part of both Sandvik Coromant Management team and the Global Marketing Management team, and travelling eight to ten times during the year is included in your work.
In this position, you report directly to the Vice President, Marketing and Communication for Sandvik Coromant and you are preferably located at one of our sites in Sweden.
Your profile - A confident and developing leader with a global business approach
We are looking for someone with experience from managing global communication in leading positions within a virtual matrix organization, along with experience from working in management teams, managing direct reports and strong people management skills. You also have a degree in a relevant field of studies - such as Communication, Journalism or Marketing. Excellent skills and knowledge of internal communication: including change, crisis and strategy communication, are important to succeed in this position, as is strategic business understanding and an interest in digital development. We are a truly global organization, and you need excellent written and verbal skills in English and Swedish, while skills in another language is beneficial.

Your view on leadership includes a coaching and engaging approach and you have a true interest in developing people and teams.
