ACE & EHS Manager, Carrier AB

Carrier is now looking for an ACE & EHS Manager to lead both the quality and productivity improvement programme (ACE - Achieving Competitive Excellence) and the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) operating system in the Nordic Area. The selected person will be located either in Vantaa, Finland or Gothenburg, Sweden.
As ACE & EHS Manager your main tasks will be to:
• Support the implementation of ACE by developing strategies, prioritising opportunities, analysing problems and opportunities, monitoring the execution supported by ACE tools.
• Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace and develop controls for identified hazards.
• Compile, analyse, interpret and report accident, loss and exposure statistical data; prepare recommendations for corrective action to eliminate or minimise potential hazards.
• Run and oversee ACE and EHS training programmes.
• Cooperate, facilitate and support central ACE and EHS functions within the UTC.
To succeed in this position you should have:
• Experience in Quality Management, preferably in an international company
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in technology or economics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Finnish, Swedish and English
• Good skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• The ability and willingness to travel mainly in Sweden and in Finland (approximately 50 % of the time)
• Perseverance in the face of challenges
