In the past, the Nordic countries have had four separate sets of support functions. The new Nordic structure operates on a cross-country level and allows us to fully utilize the various functions in the company. The new organization was implemented in the last quarter of 2010 and went live in January 2011.
Geodis Wilson's mission is to be the best Freight Management service provider - the best for our employees, customers and suppliers. The purpose of the Nordic Organization is to coordinate solutions and give support to all Nordic countries so we can be the very best in every level of the company. Finance's contribution to the organization is to processing transaction, manage the credit control procedures and manage control of the cash flow and foreign currency exposure. We are now looking for an Account Receivables/Accounts Payables Accountant that will work with the Finnish part of our Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables department. You will report to the Accounts Receivables/Accounts Payables Manager, and be located in Gothenburg.
Your role
Your mission as Accounts Receivables/Account Payables Accountant is to provide high service to our customers, suppliers and internal providers. You will work with various tasks within the Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables department, handling for instance payments, reminders, credit control and our register of customers and suppliers.
Your background
You have a secondary school degree and 3-5 years experience in a similar position. As you will be part of the Nordic team working in particular with Finnish customers and colleagues, you must be proficient in both English and Finnish (written and spoken). You have good communication skills and a strong ability to co-operate. You also have an analytical and structured way of working. It is an advantage if you have experience from the logistic business.
