Job description
Atlas Copco's Board of Directors recently announced a plan to propose a split of Atlas Copco into two world-class companies, Atlas Copco and Epiroc Group. We are now looking for an Accounting Specialist for Finance department of the Parent Company of Epiroc Group. The department will be responsible for the accounting of the Parent Company and also delivering finance support to the Group center functions including the Treasury department. The Parent Company is expected to be listed on the OMX Stock Exchange in Q2 2018.
Mission
Since the function and Group is new you will be expected to be a part of planning and organizing activities and implementation of tools for the Parent Company. You will interact with other Group Center Functions. The tasks of the team will include areas of responsibilities such as account reconciliations, cost analysis, reporting, prepare the Parent Company part of the Annual Report, treasury accounting, valuation of options in accordance with IFRS2 and pension accounting in compliance with IAS19.
Experience requirements
At least 3 years of experience from a finance department.
Educational requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance and Business Administration.
Knowledge
Genuine knowledge in Accounting (specifically IFRS 2, IAS19 etc.).Good analytical capabilities. Understanding of the system set up in an ERP system. Sub ledger, general ledger and report generator is well-known vocabulary to you. Excellent skills in Excel are a plus. Excellent communication and interaction skills, fluency in Swedish and English is a requirement.
Personality requirements
A successful candidate has a good analytical capabilities and a service minded approach. You understand the importance of meeting deadlines, manage stressful situations and have the ability to set and accomplish goals. You should also have an interest in implementing, structuring and improving financial reports and internal controls.
Company presentation
The finance department will be included in the Group Financial Reporting And Control which will be a unit in Epiroc AB. The department will provide support to in areas such as accounting and financial reporting. The Finance department will have 4 employees.
