As Senior Accounting Manager Financial Services within Global Finance Operations, you will be located in Gothenburg. You will establish and lead the accounting team for Financial Services within the Northern European Cluster and be responsible for integrating and implementing new business models into the financial services accounting model.
Main responsibilities
* Lead, coach and develop the accounting team for our Financial Services operation
* Ensure good cooperation with relevant stakeholders
* Secure that we have the right knowledge and competence in place at the right time
* Integrate new business models in an efficient and qualitative way
* Ensure compliance with current global principles, standards and frameworks
* Keep track of legislation, trends, latest news and external benchmark to ensure that the processes are "best in class"
* Focus on quality, standardization and efficiency
* Advanced accounting and accounting advices within the area of responsibility
Who are we looking for?
* University degree in Business Administration or equivalent, with minimum 5 years relevant experience
* Excellent knowledge of accounting in financial services, leasing company or retail bank
* Role model for the Volvo Aspired Culture
* Good knowledge of Finance processes in general and ability of applying these in the daily work
* Ability to work and be comfortable in a dynamic environment and continuous development
* Result driven and ability to prioritize to deliver on commitments with tight deadlines
* Highly developed and proven leadership skills
* Great communication skills
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
