What you will do
In this position, you're responsible for the hiring, training and motivating of accounting colleagues across our department, while also delegating different tasks. You evaluate, develop and improve department controls, systems and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency. Through a holistic approach, you oversee the daily activities of the accounting department and ensure that all major month-end and year-end projects are completed accurately and on schedule. With all this in mind, you're always looking for the latest developments in the finance industry and want to stay updated at all times.
Other responsibilities include:
Ensuring that all accounting processes align with K3/IFRS and other legislations
Analyzing financial data and in turn create reports for internal and external stakeholders
Maintaining accurate and complete financial records
Assisting other colleagues as they develop strategies and establish objectives
This position is based in Sandviken, and some travel may occur on sporadic occasions.
What you need to succeed
We're seeking someone with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, and you have preferably an interest in and gained knowledge of SAP and Power BI or similar programs. You have a deeper, general understanding of accounting, finance and management principles. Accompanying this are also your excellent leadership and communication skills. Since we act in a global setting, you master both the English and Swedish languages on an efficient level.
You show a clear will and eagerness to further develop your skills, and you're always looking for improvements regarding all things business. Being a structured, analytical and detail-oriented person, you also ensure that your coworkers thrive and grow in their respective working environments, and you're not afraid of setting boundaries in a way that still safeguards your humble nature.
