We're now looking for an experienced Accountant that is a motivated and result-driven person, with a passion for numbers, processes, and people. Either you have leadership experience, or you are ready for the next step in your career!

THE TASKS YOU WILL OWN

The Finance team, 7 people in Stockholm, is on a journey towards execution excellence globally. You will be a crucial part in the team's success by looking into and improving our processes and ways of working. You will lead a team of two and report to the Group Accounting Manager. A summary of your focus and responsibilities:

• Assisting in and steering the daily accounting, ensuring timely month closing and reporting of Daniel Wellington AB
• Annual closing of the books, establishing the Annual Report, communicating with auditors during the year-end audit and internal control audit
• Lead the team of two accounting assistants. Train and coach Accountants in our subsidiaries globally
• Act stakeholder internally and towards local authorities (Tax authority, banks, auditors)
• Work in global projects to standardize working processes and improve efficiency
• Participating in projects involving the ERP system Navision (globally)
• When needed, being backup for all Finance teams in Daniel Wellington/foreign subsidiaries, i.e. supporting in daily accounting questions etc.

WHO YOU ARE

You are amazing at managing your time and priorities while working with multiple stakeholders. You have strong self-leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as strategic and analytical thinking. You are also a creative problem solver. Not territorial or concerned about prestige, able to jump in and help where needed. Taking ownership and working proactively rather than in retrospect

Some boxes you should be able to tick:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably from an international company or a company with a complex setup
• Education within Economics, preferably MSc, with a focus on accounting
• Fluent in English (spoken and written). Swedish is preferred since the local authorities are not as international as we are. If you are not Swedish speaking, expect translation headaches
• Excellent Windows/Office skills
• Experience from the ERP system Navision is preferred
