In Polarica there is a positive "turn around" -process going on and the structure of the organization for the future has been clarified. We are recruiting an Accounting Manager to be responsible for an accounting of company and group level of Polarica.
Accounting Manager
Polarica is seeking an energetic and experienced internationally oriented accounting manager - with responsibility for a team of 4 members locally, and overall responsibility for accounting in the Swedish and foreign subsidiaries. As accounting manager you are leading the accounting unit and are independently responsible for establishing and completing financial statements, annual reports and other financial reporting on company and international group level. You are located mainly in Haparanda and you are reporting to the CFO.
Job Description
• To prepare/complete financial statements and other financial reports on monthly and annually basis on company and international group level together with the accounting department.
• Responsibility for the accounting of subsidiaries being accurate and reported in time
• Responsibility for the internal and external monthly reporting
• To manage and develop the skills and competence of the accounting department
• To improve procedures and processes concerning accounts and reporting
• Responsibility for reporting taxes and fees
• To ensure that internal controls are good
• To be the contact person for the auditors (together with CFO)
• To co-operate with internal and external stakeholders
Desired profile of the candidate
• Relevant Bachelor or Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
• Accounting - qualified accounting issues - as well as good knowledge in the accounting legislation in Sweden, BFNAR 2012: 1 (K3). IFRS knowledge is an advantage.
• Consolidated accounts/group accounts - preferably from international group with foreign subsidiaries
• Experience and knowledge of the producing company - experience from the MPS system is an advantage
• Experience of leading staff - good qualifications and experience with a minimum of 5 years
• Used to work in changing environment and with fast pace
• Used to work with different IT-systems
• Experience of working in an international environment
