We are a strategic business partner and support the H&M Group's business development in order to achieve our long-term goals. We are responsible for ensuring that the financial reporting keeps up with the high pace of the group.
Job Description
The Corporate Accounting Department's main responsibility is to set up and maintain accounting guidelines for the H&M Group. As a strategic business partner to all H&M accounting departments around the world we ensure that best practice is applied. We offer you a challenging role with the opportunity to influence the ways of working within global accounting. You will be given a lot of responsibility from day one and you will be working in a team together with experienced colleagues.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with and ensure quality of our financial reporting by proactively adapting our routines to constant changes
Work with monthly-, quarterly- and yearly cuts for the Swedish companies within the H&M brand as well as the H&M Group to ensure accuracy of the financial reports
Work with our global accounting principles and create accounting routines to be used as instructions for our accounting colleagues around the world
Participate in projects that affects the financial reporting
Align the accounting routines towards the local organizations and make sure that it is correct and legally compliant
Qualifications
A degree within Business Administration & Economics or equivalent
Minimum 3-6 years of relevant working experience from a similar role
Experience from working with stock accounting within a global organization is a great advantage
Experience from working within an accounting/auditing firm is an advantage
A genuine interest in working with accounting as well as developing accounting processes
Strong ability to plan, execute and prioritize
We also believe that you are a collaborator and a true team player that likes to coach, support and help others and naturally builds cross functional networks and relationships. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to customize communication to different needs when involving yourself in discussions with people from different functions and markets within the H&M Group.
