ACCOUNTANT - CORPORATE STRUCTURES WITH EQT IN AMSTERDAM
EQT's small, professional administration office in Amsterdam is responsible for the management of the Dutch based funds and the holding company structures of the group. The Amsterdam office also provides support services to the Guernsey based funds and is overall responsible for the financial control of the group. This is a great opportunity to work in a challenging position in an international environment together with professional people with various backgrounds and nationalities.
We are looking for two Accountants - Corporate Structures in the Amsterdam office. The role as Accountant Corporate - Structures gives you the possibility to develop and deepen your knowledge within accounting and reporting and learn about rules and regulations of various European jurisdictions.
Main responsibilities
• Management reporting and budgeting for various companies in the holding structure
• Perform closing and consolidations for various companies in the holding structure
• Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, Cash management, preparing of Annual Reports and Audit-files
• Management Accounting, corporate income tax, VAT and regulatory issues in different jurisdictions
• Bridge between financial analysts, banks, tax and other advisors and shareholders
• Communicating with external consultants such as auditors, tax and other advisors
Your background and personal qualities:
• MSc in Business administration, preferably within accounting
• Three or more years experience as an accountant preferably in an international organization within the investment/financial services/trust environment or auditing
• Has had international exposure
• Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both speaking and writing. Fluency in Dutch is an advantage as well as knowledge of the German language.
You have an analytical mindset with an eye for details. You are hard working, self confident and involved as well as down-to-earth and have a common sense approach to the work. It is important that you are an open communicator and service oriented.
