Edrington Nordics is seeking a driven and self-motivated Accountant to the Finance Team in Stockholm. This is a permanent position and as Accountant you will report to the Nordic Accounting Manager.
Job description
As Accountant you will ensure that the internal controls are adequate, appropriate and in compliance with regulatory requirements, industrial standards and company policies; responsible for managing the day to day book keeping and accounting activities of the finance department and be part of the team responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate accounting function. Typical task contains of balance sheet controlling, reconciliations, allocations of costs, asset accounting and intercompany reconciliations. Further you will work with reconciliations and reporting of vat, excise, bottle tax and environmental fees. Some payroll administrations will also be part of the role, although our payroll is outsourced to a third part.
Your profile
We believe that you have an academic degree within accounting, finance or equivalent together with some relevant experience. Maybe you are working as an Accounting Assistant today and want to take the next step in your career. We trust that you have a great interest in accounting as well as good knowledge in at least one ERP system and Excel. Aside from this, your verbal and written skills in Swedish and English are good. As English is our corporate language it is important that you feel confident in both spoken and written English.
As a person you are motivated, curios and logical with a "can do" mindset. Your ability to communicate and interact with others is very good and you enjoy working in a team. In this recruitment we value your openness and willingness to grow in your professional role.
