The role
We are now looking for an outstanding Accountant to fill a position in our Finance team. As our Accountant you will be in sole charge of the daily operations of our Finance department. The role is based in central Stockholm but there may be international travel. You will work autonomously while being fully supported by the Finance and Administration team (5 people).
You will have at least 3 years of work experience in the accounting function of a medium size corporation or 3 years training in an established audit firm. In depth knowledge and experience in Visma Business or equivalent software is essential. Good knowledge of Visma Reporting or other reporting software is desirable. You should have a strong interest in providing quality and timely information to facilitate key decision makers to evaluate business performance.
Primary functions include:
Maintain the balance sheets of the company
Maintain fixed asset register
Maintain the general ledger
Manage monthly payroll activities
Prepare monthly prepayments and accruals schedules
Conduct monthly bank, payroll and balance sheets reconciliations
Responsible for monthly management accounts production: P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
Ensure compliance with local tax authorities in terms of filing and payment deadline
Do the compilation entry, and posting monthly adjusting journal entries.
Prepare payments for authorization

Fluency in a 3rd language other than English and Swedish is desirable
Education and Qualifications:
A minimum 3 years of good working experience of Visma Business or equivalent accounting software
Have either 3-4 years working experience in the accounting function of a mid/large size corporation or 3-4 years in an established audit firm or equivalent
At least a BS degree in Accounting with strong record of academic success
Ideally you are at least a part qualified accountant
You should be very proficient in use computer software like Word, Excel as well as online tools like Google Docs
Your knowledge and proficiency of finance and accounting principles is crucial in this role
You have the legal right to work within the European Union (Sweden)
