The company also operates the web platforms XLmoto for on-road motorcycles and Sledstore for snowmobiles. The company currently provides local webpages, home delivery and local payment methods in 15 European countries. Since the company launched in 2009, they has had an average annual sales growth of 50% and it is currently doing approx. 40 MEUR. Being a profitable company, they has a clear goal to reach a 100 MEUR in turnover within 3-4 years.
Current state and future focus
There are over 500 000 satisfied customers who have helped them to develop its product range and focus on continuous improvement of its services. During Q1 2016, the company will consolidate its warehousing operations and value added services from France, Germany and Sweden into one global distribution center based in Szczecin, Poland. In line with continuous growth, the finance team is challenging the ongoing work to handle more transactions and improve the control and quality of all processes within the department. Therefore, we are now looking for a new team member to strengthen the accounting and payroll function. This is initially a temporary position as a parental leave replacement but there are good chances of a permanent position if the expansion goes according to plans.
Key responsibilities
• Payroll administration for approximately 100 employees/month
• Accounting for the Swedish mother company and Swedish subsidiaries
• Cost control
• Reconciliations of accounts
• Monthly reporting
• Tax declarations for tax, VAT and payroll related taxes
• Liaison and accounting support to the Polish subsidiary and the local accounting partner
• Liquidity planning
• Outgoing payments
• Administration of contracts
• Other accounting and administrative tasks
Qualifications and competencies
• Previous experience of payroll administration in a larger company
• Previous experience of accounting in an international environment
• Post high school or academic degree in relevant areas
• Excellence knowledge in Swedish and English. Knowledge in Polish will be a huge plus
• Experience from VISMA Lön and VISMA Business is good but not a requirement
• Administrative skills and a true team player
