PRESENTATION
There is a need to add resources to the Accounting Group within GCA, as we have co-workers moving to other challenges within SKF.
Group Controlling and Accounting (GCA) at SKF Group Headquarter is owner of a number of processes, activities and systems, such as:
• Closing the books - to make correct and timely monthly and year-end closings of the operational and legal books
• Accounting policies - to monitor and apply new/changed accounting policies based on IFRS
• Controlling - with the Group perspective, identify and investigate issues related to profitability, cost and quality, as well as follow up of business performance
• Concepts - to evaluate and develop the concepts SKF decides to apply for managing the business
• Business plan and forecast - to prepare and participate in the planning and forecasting process
• Group Finance systems, such as GMS and GMS Flex. GCA is also driving a project around a replacement of the current systems to a new CPM system
Publiceringsdatum2007-10-23ArbetsuppgifterMain responsibilities:
• You will be involved in the monthly and yearly consolidation of the SKF Group and responsible for parts of the elimination process
• You will be involved in preparing reports and analysis submitted internally within the Group as well as reports submitted to the external market (such as press releases and the Annual Report )
• You will also be responsible for certain accounting principles, including interpretation, change process and implementation
• You will be involved in preparing accounting and reporting instructions for the SKF Group
• You will be involved in training and educating finance people within SKF in the Group Accounting principles
As we are currently running the implementation of the CPM system, as described above, you will also become part of this project as well as other future projects.
ErfarenhetWe are looking for someone with preferably:
• A university degree in finance and administration, or similar
• Experience in accounting and reporting and/or experience from audit firm
• Ability to work individually and as part of an international team
• Analytical skills and is driven
• Good communication skills in English
• Good PC skills
