Stockholm Environment Institute is a dynamic, expanding work place that employs around 90 people from 28 different nationalities in an activity-based office in central Stockholm (Garnisonen), and with an additional 140 employees in centres around the world.The roleWe are recruiting an Accountant and ERP Specialist to SEI Headquarters in Stockholm. The successful candidate will be part of the finance team in Stockholm which currently consists of seven people, and will be reporting directly to SEI's Financial Director.The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting procedures and analysis when closing accounting periods, supporting the preparation of periodic and annual reports, as well as analysis and reporting of VAT and other taxes.The successful candidate will also be responsible for the operational management of the SEI ERP system Unit4 Business World (Agresso). This will include management and update of key data, support in the development of reports, and being the point of contact with the supplier of the system.Key duties and responsibilitiesPreparation of accounting entries for closing of accounting periodsAnalysis of accountsPreparation of periodic and annual reportsVAT reportingMaintenance of key data in ERP systemContributing to the development of ERP system modules and reportsWho you areWe are looking for a candidate with an academic business degree and with at least 3 years of relevant experience from working with accounting, accounting systems and management reporting. We expect that you have considerable experience of ERP systems in general, and Unit4 (Agresso) in particular. You will also have experience from working with tax issues including VAT.As a person you are a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
