TFS is growing and expanding our team in Lund with an accountant. In this position, you will be working in an international environment cooperating with the finance departments within the TFS Group, project leaders and other colleagues from different TFS entities. The position is full-time, located at TFS head office in Lund (Sweden) and will report to the corporate financial controller.
The main responsibilities of the accountant will include:
• Process accounting journals, transactions, payments and reports in the areas of GL, AR, AP and/or Treasury.
• Review all invoices from vendors/suppliers for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment; prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms. Respond to all vendor inquiries.
• Prepare monthly tax declarations and work papers.
• Account reconciliations and other monthly and year end closing activities
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
• Compile data and prepare a variety of financial reports.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Provide financial support to team members and other departments.
• Other administrative work supporting finance department needs
Requirements/Qualifications:
• Relevant academic degree.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must.
• Experience at working in ERP systems will be valued
• A few years? experience as Accountant or similar position is a great advantage
• Proactive, ability to multi-task, confidentiality, Deadline-Oriented and have a strong sense of team-working.
• Fluency in Swedish and English in speech and writing
