The company is a joint-venture between Ford Motor Company and Credit Agricole with operations in all four Nordic markets. In Sweden, the company is operating as the captive finance company for Ford and Mazda. The offices are co-located with the Nordic headquarters in Gothenburg.
We are now recruiting an Accountant to Forso Nordic Sweden. As an Accountant you will work closely with the operating teams of the Swedish operation, as well as the regional finance team.
The Accountant reports the Location Finance Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparation of account reconciliations
Preparation of journal entries and manual invoices as appropriate
Participation in month-end closes
Managing accounts payables
Preparation of location payments and transfers
Support location cash-flow projections as required
Active participation in internal control initiatives
Support locations monthly tax and VAT returns
Support regional efforts on statutory, regulatory and tax reporting as required
Skills and Experience
Finance/Accounting oriented university degree or equivalent.
Previous experience from accounting and financial controls is an advantage.
Fluent in English both verbally as well as in writing.
Personal characteristics such drive for results, analytical capability and attention to numerical and written details are important in this position.
