About the job
In your role as Accountant you will initially have a broad role and work in Finance a group of totally about ten people that work with Treasury, Reporting and Controlling. If you thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment this could be the perfect role for you. You are eager to develop further in your profession and would love to be able to do that in a finance function in an evolving fintech company.
You will be included and work with the whole accounting process, from bookings and accounting to financial statements. This means on going work as well as quality assurance and analysis.
Further responsibilities in the role include, but are not limited to;
• Assess the reasonableness of overhead costs.
• Participate in the preparation of annual and interim reports.
• Participate in projects such as preparation of a financial manual, ESEF-reporting and implementation of a new accounting system.
• Streamline and automate existing processes.
About you
To be successful in this role you have a positive approach to solving issues at hand and have a proactive approach. You work independently and have a drive to constantly improve routines and processes if needed. In a team, you are committed to support your colleagues, bring your knowledge and ideas to the table, and you are open to different perspectives.
Further, we believe that you have:
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or auditing, either from a finance function or a consultant role.
• Previous experience of financial statements.
• Knowledge of depreciation, accruals, and fixed assets.
• A relevant university degree.
• If you have experience within IFRS that is considered an advantage.
