hela Sverige Are you an Accounting Professional with excellent analytical ability? Do you enjoy handling various accounting tasks, and are you interested in joining a global organization? We are looking for an Accountant to join our financial accounting team in Skåne, Sweden. You will play a vital part in our business operations in this role.
Your role
You will join a finance team of 10 highly dedicated and competent colleagues and work from our location in Åstorp with the flexibility to work from home. Your role entails accounting within inventory, assets, payroll, from tax accounts to MISC liabilities. You will be reporting to our Head of Financial Accounting and working closely with our Finance Department colleagues, primarily in Sweden. You will also be part of a finance transformation journey, as we recently have implemented SAP in our Finance.
Your responsibilities
Analytical review of current accounts and monthly, quarterly and annual final accounts
In cooperation with the Head of Financial Accounting, ensure compliance following the internal corporate guidelines (laws, rules and recommendations)
Work closely with our Financial Accounting Team, FP&A and several departments within JELD-WEN Europe HQ
Cooperate with external auditors, tax authorities and other external Stakeholders
Handle tasks in cooperation with the team concerning auditors and public authorities
Participating with the team in handling internal controls and SOX compliance
Support and serve as a backup for colleagues in the department
General tasks in the finance department
Your skills and experiences
Experience from a similar accounting function
You hold a university degree in business administration (major accounting) or equivalent.
You master Microsoft Office, especially Excel without difficulty, and have experience with ERP systems, BI tools, and maybe consolidating systems
Excellent analytical skills accompanied by attention to detail as you will be responsible for accounts preparation, reporting and forecasts
Familiar with using MS Teams or equivalent for internal communication as you will work closely with colleagues from Sweden and Denmark
Structured and have a flair for numbers
Collaborative with the ability to work closely and build partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders
You speak and write English and Swedish unhindered and preferably understand the Scandinavian languages
