We've just hit a growth spurt and are on the lookout for an Accountant to join our motley crew of curious, growth minded and all around nice people.
About the role
We have a recent Finance department that constantly strives to be more efficient and supportive to our teams in the organization, while also delivering qualitative data to the market. You will work alongside experienced accountants and our Accountant Manager. We believe that working closely in a small team, such as this, allows you to have broad exposure to various areas of the business. The team manages a lot of the workload together and therefore you will always have great support. There will also be opportunities to work independently on projects and managing your own workload is important.
Things you'll be responsible for
Managing accounts payable
Payments and bank reconciliations in volume
Handling VAT declarations
Juggling with different currencies
Involved in monthly closing and reporting
Administration within accounting
Implementation of New GL
Employee reimbursements for expenses incurred
Involved in year end closing
Implementation of new processes and continuous development of processes
Ad Hoc projects with the rest of Accounting team
Things you are really good at
1-3 years of experience within Accounting
Experience with big volumes of workload
Excel is your favourite tool and you "excel" at it
Experience of working with NetSuite
Experience of working in a business with a flat hierarchy
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
And you are definitely
Native like - fluent in written and spoken English
International mindset
A doer, a problem solver while being curious
Able to excel in a fast paced environment where multi-tasking and short timelines are met with consistent ability to achieve financial accuracy
Self-starter with strong communication skills
Knowledgeable of Swedish accounting practices and law
