Sweden - Full time - Stockholm
Job Purpose:
The Account Manager/Team Leader will be directly reporting to the
Managing Director and will lead a team of 3 Accountants. The new
position holder will have overall responsibility for the Accounting & Tax
Service Line in Sweden, working in compliance with all TMF procedures
and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversees the co-ordination of the preparation of (local and
consolidated) financial statements, balance sheets and annual
reports;
• Maintains contact with auditors, tax advisors, lawyers and other
involved parties in order to obtain the required information for
reporting purposes;
• End to End ownership of assigned clients;
• On-boarding new clients and accommodating their requirements;
• Ensures the accounting team process and deliver a high quality payroll service to our clients;
• Be proactive and use initiative to clarify issues, identify savings and efficiency in operations;
• Oversees the implementation of TMF Group operational processes to ensure service level continuity;
• Ensures the payroll team comply with all tax calculations and local payroll regulations;
• Communicates with the assigned clients;
• Keep up to date with changes in tax, payroll and labour legislation.
• Delegates work across the team as appropriate
Key requirements:
• 3-5 years? experience of working as Accounting Manager/Consultant;
• Good knowledge of finance; accounting and cost control principles;
• Excellent knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, especially Swedish GAAP?s and experience in preparation of Swedish Annual Accounts;
• Experience in reconciliation between IFRS and Swedish GAAP is a plus;
• Attention to details and good organizational skills;
• Experience with working in an international environment is a plus;
• Previous work experience from consultancy firm or similar work is a plus;
• Good IT knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software and with Excel in particular;
• Previous people management experience preferred;
• Fluency in Swedish and English language.
