Purpose of position
One line of Celanese Corporation, Ticona, wants to grow it's business in Norden and is looking for an application development manager/account manager in Gothenburg to our Nordic sales organisation.
The principal objective of this position is to grow our base business as well as build up project pipeline and commercialize projects in Norden including commercial responsibility over assigned key accounts.
Responsibilities
• Identification, development and commercialization of projects at assigned key accounts / application areas and in their value chain.
• Development and commercialization of projects at new customers / application areas.
• Continuosly keeping our customers/end users aware of our products/news/changes.
• Giving input internally of market and customer trends/changes/strategies.
• Total commercial responsibility including pricing/contracts/budgeting and forecasting over assigned key accounts.
Background and personal qualities
• 2+ years experience in sales/application development with engineering plastics.
• MBA/Bachelors Degree in Polymers, Engineering or Commercial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills - capability to influence outcome.
• Knowledge of plastics and their processing and design.
• Fluent in English and Swedish. Danish language skills seen as merit.
• Capability and possibility to travel, mainly in Norden but also in some other European countries, e.g. Germany and Hungary.
• Driving licence.
