To the Swedish subsidiary, we are looking for:
Account Manager in the field of clinical diagnostic

In this role you will be responsible for the achievement of agreed territory sales targets of the relevant bioMérieux products through actively selling such products to existing and new customers in the medical field.
Of great importance is the development and maintenance of relationships with all customers through regular visits in order to create a professional selling environment.
This role demands a customer/results-oriented approach together with high commitment, a strong work ethic and the ability to work both alone and as part of a team, working with both Application Specialists and Field Service Engineers.
It is also important to follow local/global marketing strategies and promotional programs and to spend time where it has most effect.
You will also actively seek and report relevant changes in the market and keep customers updated with all the latest product information.
Travel will be mainly in Sweden but some travel in the other Nordic countries may be required, therefore cultural awareness and flexibility to travel is essential.
Good knowledge of Microbiology is needed and previous work in a similar environment is desirable.

Desirable background and characteristics:
• A strong business sense with selling and negotiating experience
• Knowledge of the IVD market
• Cultural awareness & good interpersonal skills
• Innovative and capable of taking the initiative
• A multi-tasking, problem-solving work ethic
• Communication (oral & written) in English & Swedish
• IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Strong background in Microbiology/Natural science and / or Biomedical Analysis with experience from the business area.

Headoffice: Askim, Gothenburg
