This role requires a Senior Account Manager with a Sales and Negotiation background, accompanied with the ability to; build relationships; enhance our hotelier's system knowledge; highlight behaviours and key trends with your designated market; drive increased revenue by improving hotel availability and rates: and, lead and develop a high performing team to beat targets within a designated area. Ideal Candidate You will be a self-motivated, dynamic, pro-active and experienced sales and account management professional with outstanding people and organisational skills. You will have a proven ability to beat targets and to provide support to enable your team to achieve targets. Leading by example, you must demonstrate a wealth of Account Management experience, proven management and coaching abilities. You must be proactive in your communication and demonstrate excellent reporting skills to support both your team and the Area Manager. You will be used to working within dynamic teams, where pro-activity, autonomy, efficiency and adaptability form the basis for success. A natural team player with fantastic people skills, you will be able to adapt your communication style and approach with differing and demanding situations, as well as varying levels of individuals and hierarchies. You will also be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and clearly articulate strategic, business and technical subjects.
Essential Experienced and creative sales or account management professional Experience gained within customer or consumer facing business environment Proven ability to deliver targets Leadership experience, or ability to lead a team Coaching skills and ability to motivate a team Team-player Analytical and strategic mindset with research, analysis and reporting skills Ability to build relationships with strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) Pro-active, positive and self-motivated with ability to work without close supervision Excellent project management, multi-tasking and organisation skills Confidence to share ideas in order to improve products and/or systems Word processing skills with Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Key Responsibility Areas Develop New Business . Develop and manage relationships with hotel chains and independent hotels in your designated area in order to achieve and support our business objectives. . Continual area analysis and research to improve quantity and quality of hotel supply by liaising with the Web-marketing and Partner teams to identify areas of need. . Conduct thorough competitor research and analysis reporting as required to the Area Manager in order for us to gain competitive edge within your area.
