As a member of the Frostbite Account Managers team, you represent the face of Frostbite to our game team partners as first-line point of contact. You will help coordinate the adoption of Frostbite into EA games and also work with other partnering central teams. You will combine technical knowledge with superb customer service to support teams and translate their game's ambitions into a clearly communicated engagement strategy that the Frostbite product development team can execute against.
In this role, you will naturally tend to build successful long term relationships with game teams and enable them to meet their business goals through the use of Frostbite. Your ideas, input, experience, and project management skills will be critical to leading the adoption of Frostbite to success.
You are expected to be self-motivated and comfortable with assuming responsibility for helping teams understand requirements and working with them throughout the Frostbite integration. You will use your project management and communication skills to understand the needs, schedules, issues, and strategic objectives of our game teams. You will proactively build and manage day-to-day relationships with your client teams and establish yourself as a highly respected and effective partner in Frostbite.
Key Responsibilities includes, for example:
• Develop a strong knowledge of Frostbite technology and processes to effectively represent Frostbite.
• Fully understand the Frostbite roadmap and evangelize to partners and customers
• Fully understand the game teams? roadmap from concept to release and communicate this back to the Frostbite team.
• Help determine solutions by leading all coordination and communications amongst appropriate groups to enable successful design, development, support, and workflows.
• Attend Product Owner meetings to better understand product and provide input to dev priorities
• Keep Frostbite team informed and up-to-date with changes, either in the form of technology, policies or process (i.e. 1st party), and game team changes.
• Identify customers? problems in the Frostbite domain and help with solutions. Delegate to SMEs where our expertise is not adequate, and be accountable until there is a resolution.
• Act as a single point of contact for all European game teams, especially on all support or service matters.
• Act as a first point of contact for game teams, especially for new integrators.
• Review and triage support queue on behalf of game teams.
• Advocate a proactive resolution process between Frostbite SEs and game team SEs.
• Recommend process improvements to Frostbite team that will help with the Frostbite vision.
Requirements
3+ years of experience working in the software industry
Excellent written & verbal communication, documentation skills
Comfortable communicating across the spectrum; from Directors to Producers to Engineers
Ability to challenge, understand, and support customer needs
Smart, tenacious, persistent, detail oriented & energetic
Knowledge of Solution Selling or Pragmatic Marketing a bonus.
