About the client
Founded in 1967 our client has become an international beauty company selling direct in more than 60 countries worldwide. Its wide portfolio of Swedish, nature-inspired, innovative beauty products are marketed through a sales force of approximately 3 million independent consultants, who together create annual sales of around €1.5 billion. We're now looking for an fashion interested Accessories Buyer.
Worktasks
Your responsibilities:
• Negotiate and communicate with suppliers
• Communicate and collaborate with marketing and the product development team
• Communicate on a daily basis with the Regulatory and Quality team to ensure all products purchased are safe, of good quality and are fit for purpose
• Assist in developing the supplier base within Accessories
Your profile
• A person with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the purchasing of Accessory products
• Experience of buying Fashion Accessories in particular the product sectors of handbags, jewellery & textile would be considered an advantage
• Analytical and strong business mindset
• Strong negotiation skills
• Fluent in both written and oral English language
• Experience of working with Asian suppliers would be considered an advantage
