The ABB Robotics production plant in Västerås is now recruiting a manager for production. In this role you will report to the factory manager, you represent several production lines and will be a part of the factory's management team. You have direct reporting production leaders and a complete organization of approximately 300 to 400 co-workers.
Your responsibilities
To secure a systematic way of working to proactively minimize the risk for health and safety risks for the personnel, as well as, to minimize the risk of environmental and quality impact on processes and products.
To meet agreed targets on: Safety, Sustainability & Environmental impact, Product quality, Delivery according to released production orders, Productivity, Competence and personnel development, 5S, Improvements & savings and Organizational cost.
You are also responsible to develop a way of working with your organization so that both the organizational structure, working methods and results are competitive in comparison with the best production plants in the world. This includes adherence of applicable laws, regulations, processes and committed certification.
Your background
To be successful in this position we look forward to recruiting a strong, experienced and collaborative leader that has cross functional knowledge from primarily, production, logistics, manufacturing engineering, factory maintenance, project and portfolio management, LEAN and R&D.
A background from the automotive business is beneficial, as well as knowledge and experience from the production system World Class Manufacturing (WCM).
