You will be part of Corporate Research in Västerås. We are one of the largest research centers within ABB and have a strong competence in material technology supporting the innovation in both power technology and automation areas. Our multicultural research center consists of approximately 240 scientists from 45 different countries.

The challenge: As an assistant scientist you will contribute to R&D projects as a team member. You will focus on designing and constructing sealing rig tests. You will analysis several sealing materials, and evaluate most critical sealing parameters. A natural part of your job will involve contributing to scientific discussion and looking for innovative solutions.

The requirements: You hold a M.Sc Thesis in mechanical or electronic engineering. Fluency in English, written and spoken alike, is a must, whereas additional language skills are positive. As a person you are rigorous, independent and reliable.
