Role Description
As System Developer you will be a part of an agile development team that delivers new features, upgrades and customizations to the AARO platform. You, together with your team will take ownership of the development process and play a vital role in realizing the technical vision.
The development department as a whole is responsible for creating, planning and coordinating the creation and update of AARO's quality products and consists of both a development and a test team.
What you will do:
As System Developer you will:
• Analyze requirements, design and develop new features as well as fixing bugs and improving the current code base
• Work closely with other developers, product managers and testers
• Contribute with input on future choice of technology and tools
The tech stack: Java, Wildfly/Jboss, MS SQL, GWT, React, Bootstrap, TypeScript, Scala, Azure (cloud hosting) and Python. They also use tools such as Jira, Git and Jenkins.

Is this you?
To be successful in this role we see that you have a couple of years experience as a Backend or System Developer with Java as your "go-to" language. Earlier experience implementing new technologies and working with architecture gives extra merit.
Personality wise, you have excellent problem-solving skills and enjoy analyzing and solving complex issues. Collaboration with others is something you appreciate as well as exploring and learning new technologies and sharing your findings. Furthermore we also see that you have strong communications skills in writing and verbal communication in English.
