Vergic AB is looking for a tester to join their development team at their main-office in Malmö. This is a great opportunity for you with some years of experience from testing in a web environment to eventually become a test leader. The team develops and maintains the Vergic AB core business systems, which includes backend integration systems and frontend applications, as well as internal applications. The applications are hugely scalable and exposed to major players worldwide and locally.

As a tester at Vergic you will work with system testing of their core product, ps plugin. You will create, maintain and execute automated and manual test suites to verify SW releases. You work closely with development to establish engineering testing requirements. Your responsibility also involves preparing and reviewing test documentation, including test plans, test cases and test reports, to ensure full test coverage of each product component.
You will execute test cases and evaluate results. Provide support to development team on test-related issues and provide status to management on planned activities, issues and dependencies is also part of the role.

Your qualifications
You are ISTQB certified and have at least 2 years of experience from testing in a web environment. You have working knowledge of Javascript and it's an advantage if you also have knowledge of .NET C#. Knowledge of Microsoft Test Manager and Team Foundation Server is a merit.
You have experience of functional testing, load testing and cross browser compatibility. You have an excellent knowledge of the development lifecycle, bug resolution processes, as well as integration testing. It's an advantage if you have experience of automated SW testing and if you have worked with agile methodologies (Scrum). You also have excellent writing skills to communicate information effectively. You master English and Swedish fluently, both verbally and in writing.
You describe yourself, and seen upon, as a strong team player, but also as one who is self-motivated and able to work autonomously. You carry out your work in a proactive and collaborative manner with a significant high-energy attitude. You have a talent of finding bugs and enjoy correcting them in order to optimize the system. You have exceptional analytical skill and ability to understand complex problems and generate appropriate solutions. You thrive in a work environment where standards and demands are very high, and you feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
