The Analytics & AI eART drives transformation and implementation of data driven methods within Volvo Cars Research & Development, making it the focal point of automated feedback loops for product development. We have a clear goal to fully utilize state of the art methods from various industries to connect end customer behavior to the development iterations. This will influence CI/CD chains as well as our bets on connectivity and Android. The department also handle competence growth and collaborations within Analytics & AI. Our team is cross-functional and work together with our different domains within R&D. It consists of Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers and Software Engineers developing product applications and services with direct or indirect connection to our cars.

Our eART is devoted to the data and analytics transformation of R&D - you'll join our R&D central data science team of highly skilled colleagues to form a new branch and method center to ensure the A/B testing capabilities throughout car development all over R&D.
Your contribution
In this role you'll be active on two levels. Firstly, by advising and shaping organizations and processes to set up highly efficient environments for A/B testing. You'll be an authority in R&D on how to perform and evaluate A/B tests. Second, you'll help teams and individuals in the organization to get started or improve their use of A/B testing. To do this, you'll advise on how to set up successful A/B tests, and how to interpret the results.
What you bring
The be successful in the role as A/B testing method expert you need to have a theoretical, deep-level understanding as well as significant practical experience of A/B testing in a SW company. You have excellent communication skills and enjoy combining work on a principal high level with hands-on day-to-day challenges. We believe you have solid knowledge also from other methods of controlled experiments, production grade SW development. Advanced analytical methods as well as experience from embedded development is meritorious.
