Ericsson PDU UDM, NDO EAB HSS (Home Subscriber Server) is expanding and needs senior SW Developers (C++) with 5 ? 7 years of experience of C++ SW design and C++ SW architecture development. The main tasks are to participate, drive and evolve the SW design and architecture development both from within teams and on node system level. This includes to lead and perform system studies and breakdown of product requirements into SW design and system architecture development blocks that the teams implement in an agile way.
HSS is a real time telecommunication system that facilitates subscription handling within any access technologies. UDM implements the 3GPP HSS, providing capability of managing subscriptions in Circuit Switch, Packet Switch, IMS, LTE and WLAN networks domains. The HSS is a master user database that supports the IMS network entities that actually handle calls. It contains the subscription-related information, performs authentication and authorization of the user, and can provide information about the subscriber's location and IP information, similar to GSM HLR & AuC
We work in a lean and agile environment, where the candidates are expected to influence and make a difference in HSS SW product design. The daily operation will be performed within a cross-functional development team.
Our teams consist of members that are T-shaped and flexible to perform different tasks such as design, function test, system test and system management in order for HSS to develop features in the most efficient way.
The HSS department is part of PDU User Data Management in DU Core & IMS (BNET). The Design Center at Ericsson AB in Stockholm is responsible for developing features in the HSS product.
The HSS product is developed in close co-operation with Design Centers in Madrid and Shanghai.
Due to this highly developed communication and team co-operation skills are of course vital, this to ensure close cooperation between teams and colleagues in Stockholm, Madrid and Shanghai.
Additionally the candidates should be genuinely interested in all aspects of software development.
They should have a positive attitude, strong drive and a positive attitude towards embracing changes and WoW development.
Finally the candidates also need to have high potential or previous experience from customer collaboration spanning from customer product presentations to FOA activities and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
Required Competencies:
• MsC in Computer science or Electrical engineering,
• More than five years of experience of object oriented development C++
• Experience in defining SW architecture Experience in System studies
Good to have Competencies:
• HSS & IMS & User data management SIP & Diameter TSP/Dicos TTCN-3 CBA, experience in working Agile Scrum, Kanban etc
