The OSS business is expanding fast in Region RECA and we are now looking for a business oriented OSS/IT solution architects (SA) that can help us build a business in solution areas with high growth potential. We are looking for a SA for our Service Assurance and Customer Experience Management related business primarily to telecom operators in the Nordic and Baltic area.

Role Description

We are looking for a senior solution expert and business developer. As consultant you play a key role in driving the OSS business growth and strengthen the strategic dialogue with the customers within the region. You will together with the Head of OSS Solution Development be responsible for development and promotion of customer-centric offerings in the OSS practice area. Most solutions include a high percentage of consulting and SI services as well as 3rd party components.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Solution Development: Develops and promote customer-centric offerings in the OSS area, comprising hardware, software and services, Ericsson and third party. Take on Customer Solution Responsible (CSR) role in our most complex offerings. This includes coaching technical and commercial experts to support with relevant competencies as well as cooperation with internal and 3rd party suppliers.
• Sales Engagement: In cooperation with sales proactively drive strategic customer dialogue on long-, medium-, and short-term on OSS topics to establish trust, build business partnership, and generate and qualify new leads.
• Strategy and business development & Knowledge Sharing: Participates in the EP strategy and contribution to Ericsson?s yearly strategy process. Performs selected strategic deep-dive analyses on request. Contributes insights to OSS Practice strategies. Assists sales in broadening & strengthening the interface towards non-traditional Ericsson counterparts, e.g., customer?s CMO, CFO and CIO. Regularly contributes to building a base of customer insights in the area of OSS.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Business or Engineering/ICT ? minimum Master level.
• Minimum 7 year experience from OSS and or IT business, with an edge in solution creation and sales. Strong experience and personal track record of sales and delivery within the OSS/IT area in combination with a very strong product and market knowledge of the relevant OSS/IT area.
• Strong business mind-set. Profound understanding of customer challenges & opportunities (commercial, operational, technical). Track record in consultative selling experience with C-level at customers.
• Expert in listening, scoping & translating customer issue into business opportunities.
• Creative in terms of ability to see and make things in a new or different way, capability of developing inspiration, innovation or insight. Generates break-through insight: Reconciles contradictory input, distils high-level conclusions, and proposes way forward.
• Effective leader of geographically distributed virtual teams
• Solid insight in operator financials: Credibly consults growing revenue streams, improving cost structure efficiency & enhancing balance sheet. Advanced business case modelling skills.
• Proactive, takes initiative and shows on a pragmatic can-do attitude.
• Capability to adapt to different cultural aspects in the region.
• Fluent in English and local language.
• Willing and available to travel frequently in the region.
