CoreChange is hiring on behalf of our client for an exciting opportunity in Kista Stockholm or or Gothenburg or Luleå, Sweden. Some traveling is expected, both within Europe and to China.

About the position:
We are currently looking for Radio Access Network (RAN) System Specialists to join our Wireless Networks Systems design team in Sweden. The team is responsible for RAN
level system design solutions, providing input to the product development projects.
The candidate will work with specification of the SW system and architecture for the evolution towards 5G Wireless Networks, supporting the future communication services
needs, the demand for deployment flexibility, efficient management and migration from
todays network & SW architectures
With the introduction of many-core processor architectures beyond say >30 cores the SW architecture as well as application SW (and functionality) have to be completely re- designed to be able to efficiently utilize the underlying hardware and scale the capacity without any SW redesign.
Qualifications and experience:
The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience from R&D of RAN or Base Station level design and systemization of embedded systems and software. General Radio Network system management/design competence is required (functionality, systemization, ways-of-working/methodology, etc.).
Specialist level competence in the following areas is meriting:
Parallel computing and many-core execution in Base band systems (Layer 1 and Layer 2) SW Architecture and modeling of complex real-time systems
3GPP Radio Network architecture, Performance and functionality evolution SW Defined Networks and Cloud Computing
A Master degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent background is required.
Skills requirements:
The candidate must be innovative and productive, with a high focus on delivering high quality work on short timescales within an intensive & dynamic working environment. The candidate must be able to work independently and unsupported when required, but
also be a team member. The candidate should be able to argue as needed, both to promote / defend what they see as the best solution but also to be open for suggestions from others.
Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. The candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Good communication, documentation and presentation skills.
