The Wireless Networks group at the Department of Radio Access in Kista, is responsible for the wireless communication and broadcast hardware systems including Bluetooth, WLAN, FM radio and other standards in the Smartphone products. Our multi-radio platform greets the emerging mobile lifestyle with ubiquitous connectivity and seamless mobility at ever accelerating pace and ever dwindling cost. To lead that front with excellent R&D efficiency and quality, we would like to reinforce our engineering group with a Staff Engineer, Wireless Hardware Systems, with the near-term focus on A-GPS.
Description of duties:
• Writing specifications
• Chipsets integration related RF and baseband design, e.g. PCB layout and schematics capture
• Design verifications on block level, system level and complete phone
• Discussions with vendors
• Collaboration with Antenna, Cellular RF, Power Management, Acoustics, BaseBand, Mechanics, Type Approval, Software and other disciplines
• Involvement in manufacturing issues
Qualifications:
• Master or Licentiate of Electronic Engineering or similar
• Experience in wireless hardware systems (e.g. BT/WLAN/UWB/A-GPS/FM) related design, with focus on the RF part.
• Preferably you have experience from the whole product life cycle, including everything from writing specifications, design, schematics capture, verification, EMC testing, production support, and measuring technique
• Excellent hands-on skills and good theoretical understanding
• Energetic, joyful and self-disciplined
• Proactive and structured way of working
• Able to work both independently as well as in a team
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
