R&D department RF&Antennas develop and verify the radio and antennas of mobile phones. The most important phase of such work is the concept study phase which requires intensive contributions from the antenna engineers in suggesting designs and conditions for the planning of new phones.

Description of duties:

Sony Ericsson holds various test-systems for radiated tests of phones. New applications such as GPS, DVB-H, WLAN and FM-transmitter/receiver need some test tool development. Your role is to serve all our radiation test-tools with respect to quality, efficiency and development. Calibrations, upgrades (SW and HW) and supplier contacts are part of the work. You are suggesting suitable investment objects to management.

Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced MSEE with documented skills in antenna and mobile phones testing techniques. You have an open mind and can communicate fluently both internally and with our suppliers, much in English.
