Connectivity Packet Platform (CPP) is a product development unit within Business Unit Networks, based in Älvsjö, Sweden. We are responsible for the total life cycle of the connectivity packet platform used for both server and payload applications in core and radio networks. Our product is deployed successfully in Ericsson 3G systems around the world.
Publiceringsdatum2007-09-17ArbetsuppgifterOur system integration and verification engineers work in projects to integrate and verify the connectivity packet platform.
You will be involved with:
• Early system integration and verification.
• Preparing test environments, including requirement analysis and tool development.
• Developing test strategies.
• Test automation and execution.
• Troubleshooting.
• Release handling and product introduction.
• Activities together with CPP users, such as Radio Base Station (RBS), Radio Network Controller (RNC) and Media Gateway (MGW) including support.
Working in small teams, you will be responsible for preparing, planning and test execution of the platform. You will have the chance to move between system integration and verification, and take on a team-leader role.
In this position, you will have the chance to develop a system overview and hands-on experience in ATM, SS7 and TCP/IP in a network environment.
ErfarenhetWe are searching for recent graduates with a Master of Science in the fields of computer science, electrical engineering, telecom or an equivalent field of study.
You will:
• Have strong software design skills in C, C++ or Java.
• Have strong skills in script languages, such as Perl, Expect or Tcl.
• Have strong UNIX skills.
• Knowledge of ATM, SS7 and TCP/IP.
• Have fluent written and spoken English.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with the overall picture rather than the specific details of a product. You will be inspired by fitting all the pieces together and seeing a new system come alive, and view troubleshooting as a challenge.
