hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Gaming Corps AB i Uppsala Gaming Corps is looking to fill the position of Senior 3D Character Artist with an exceptionally talented artist. Candidates should have extensive experience working with modeling / sculpting tools to achieve photo-realistic as well as stylized characters, a solid grasp of character design, anatomical form, structure, color, and light for the creation of both 2D and 3D art assets. The candidate must be a team player, organized, and creative, with the ability to solve technical problems efficiently.
We want to hire people who like freedom but also take on the responsibility to deliver quality work. Of course you need to have a passion for games and like to learn new skills, tools and technologies.
Gaming Corps are developing games for several devices such as mobiles, PC and consoles.
Essential
• At least 3+ years working in gaming with credit on at least one shipped title.
• Focus on creating photo realistic characters and / or creatures in both organic and hard surface form.
• Expert knowledge of software such as Maya, Mudbox / ZBrush, UV Layout, Photoshop or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of current and emerging character modeling, rigging pipelines.
• Good communications skills and able to mentor others and help them level up.
• Able to generate models from some to little or no concept art.
• Able to troubleshoot and smartly correct other artists? scenes, props, etc and provide meaningful feedback when needed.
• Able to generate models from some to little or no concept art
Desirable
• Grooming / facial / clothing modeling experience.
• Rigging / animation/surfacing experience.
• Experience with the creation of next-gen shaders and materials.
• Strong foundation in the traditional arts, including but not limited to figure drawing and illustration
