About the position
On behalf of our client, Perido are looking for a 3D Cable Harness Designer. The company is a world-leading supplier of transport solutions and together with partners and customers, they are driving the transition to a sustainable transport system. The office is located in Södertälje. Working remotely will be partly possible.
Your daily tasks
Your main assignment will be as a VCA Cable Harness 3D designer. You'll be working with 3D routing and installation packaging in CATIA V5 for bumper and frame on both ICE and autonomous trucks. You will support design teams in different projects.
The tasks consist of creating cable harness routings, make sure to solve clashes in packaging in the digital vehicle layout, initiate digital and physical testing and support during these events. You will be having contact with production, other 3D designers, 2D electrical cable harness designers and other affected of the development area. Also, taking out routing part nrs, GP, writing ECO's, do investigation work, planning and prioritize tasks together with the other designers within the same team etc.
Your characteristics
You are educated and have experience in a related field. It motivates you to solve challenges in a structured and analytical way. You are a quick learner and like to work in a flexible manner. You take initiative and do not hesitate to push for change. As a person, you are service-oriented, communicative and enjoy working with many contact surfaces.

Qualifications:
Bachelor in science with focus on mechanical or electrical engineering, or similar work
Experience in Catia V5
Excellent communication skills in English
Meriting
Experience from the automotive industry
Communicating fluently in Swedish
Contract type and hours
Full-time, consulting assignment until 2023-05-31. Start 2022-12-01.
