Within the Creative Design Center, the Human Interface Design team creates the graphic interface, graphical effects and behaviour of the interface experience in mobile phones and accessories displays, PC cards and PC SW.
Human Interface Designers are responsible for all icon design, themes, transitions/graphical effects, illumination, application design and visualisations in general with focus on graphic appearance and effects in harmony with outstanding usability.
To meet an exiting journey ahead, we are now seeking for both a skilled Graphic/ Multimedia Designer, with documented experience from graphic design, animation & multimedia design, as well as a Senior Graphic Designer skilled at Flash Adobe, with a minimum of two years documented experience from Flash and Action Script.
The design work is carried through in an interdepartmental manner, with close cooperation with the industrial designers and color and material designers, SW and UI-teams, content- and application groups, project and product planning representatives. At Human Interface Design we share a genuine passion for design. An interest and understanding of interaction design and technical opportunities, are needed to reach successful results.
Description of duties:
You will be responsible to design and present graphic & multimedia design for displays. You will be assigned to multiple projects, to create and produce material, from the start of a project until launch. The responsibilities will also include individual coordination and planning of assigned projects and presenting outcome. The work involves cooperation with a wide numbers of functions in the company, and you will be involved in vision projects to drive next generation designs.
Qualifications:
Your core skills are in Graphic & Multimedia Design. You will produce graphic design, graphical effects, and developing the human interface design. The applicant should have an appropriate education, relevant design experience, and understanding of the graphic design/multimedia design, its deliverables and purpose. You must be confident and professional in working with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, After Effects and similar programs. Experience in Action Script/Flash or JAVA programming for visualizing and prototyping, and/or in MAYA, Alias, 3D Studio or similar 3D programs, is a great plus.
In the daily design work, networking, communicating and sharing information between professions and departments, are essential to achieving superior results. The position places importance on creative mindset and interpersonal skills, and you must be open to other cultures, professions and networking/cooperation. The unit belongs to the Creative Design Centre (CDC) and the position is based in Lund, Sweden. The language for all communication is in English.
