Criteria:
Cisco 1-3 Years Essential
DHCP 1-3 Years Essential
DNS 3-5 Years Essential
LAN/WAN 1-3 Years Essential
Nätverkssupport 1-3 Years Essential
Background
Network is a department within Production that provides an end-to-end connectivity service. Our responsibilities cover LAN, WAN, telephony, security, external connections, addressing, monitoring and documentation services. We work in a global manner and create standards with our colleagues. Work includes pre-studies, design, implementation, change handling and maintenance of each area. The network contains of 915 routers and above 1000 connections worldwide.
Profile
The person shall have following profile:
Ø Approximately 5-6 years of experience within Cisco network communication
Ø Analytical, accurate and thorough
Ø Have experience from working with network at a global enterprise is a plus
Ø Be creative, self driven and a responsible person
Ø Communicative with people in the organisation
Competence
Following demands must be fulfilled:
Ø Deep knowledge of network infrastructure, DNS and DHCP
Ø 2nd level support of Cisco network communication according to ITIL
Ø Knowledge and experience from Cisco environments and devices is a must
Ø Knowledge in configuration of LAN, switching. Cisco 3750 using Cisco CLI
Ø Knowledge of design, configuration, implementation of WAN, routing TCP/IP, MPLS, routers 2800
Ø Knowledge of Cisco VPN Concentrator, LAN to LAN, Cisco Content switch, ISA is a plus
Following criteria are desirable:
Ø Understand the ITIL processes such as Change Management, Configuration Management and Incident Management etc.
Tasks
The main tasks in the assignment will be:
Responsible for 2nd level support according to our Service Level Agreements.
Troubleshooting, analyze, reconfigurations and maintenance-tasks of network. Requires a broad knowledge within communication area.
