Position Summary
TX Design section is part of Transmitter Design Department at Radio Design unit in Sweden. Our design: TX (TRX Low Level Output) and TOR (Transmission Observation Receiver), is placed on TRX board in Ericsson?s radio units and covers quite broad area of transmitter chain, from digital baseband to PA input. We cooperate strongly with PA Design, Digital Linearization and ASIC teams, as well as we drive our own pre-dev activities.
Right now we are looking for a skilled digital HW engineer with few years of ?hands-on? experience and good radio competences, who would like to join our team working with TX design.
Your main responsibility area will be TX radio design. You should have very good experience of DA/AD converters and good knowledge of microwave design and measurements techniques. You should also be familiar with radio system and telecommunications standards. Good knowledge of IC will be a merit.
We expect that you are structured and flexible.
Competence demand:
• M.Sc.E.E. or equivalent
• Very good knowledge of digital design and measurements
• Very good knowledge of RF design and measurements
• Good knowledge of ADS or MWO
• Good knowledge of ANSYS tools like HFSS or SI-Wave will be a merit
• Good knowledge of radio system and standards for mobile communication
• Good knowledge of system simulation tool like VSS will be a merit
