Interning at Nasdaq
The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with an outstanding opportunity to experience a relevant and immersive 10 week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning development opportunities and meet with senior leaders. This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August 2022.

The opportunity to work within a highly skilled and expert product engineering team. You will belong to cross-functional scrum team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Test Engineers.
Your Role
Conducts a range of quality control tests and analyses if software meets or exceeds specified standards, or client requirements.
Plans test effort develops automated test cases in Java and test specifications for the system.
Builds test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.
Participate in system design activities related to functional test aspects of the systems.
Collaborate with internal or external team members to ensure that tests are successfully completed, documented accurately and provides high Quality Assurance
Who we are looking for:
Passionate individual looking to start their career in technology
Completing a Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with an anticipated graduation date after December 2022
Knowledge in QA/Testing methodology
Experience with Java SE, API, and related frameworks
Experience working with GIT, Bitbucket, Teamcity
Experience working with Linux and databases
Knowledge in the field of UI/GUI test automation
What would be helpful:
Knowledge in agile test approaches and the software development life cycle
A self-starter with evidence of intellectual curiosity
A critical thinker who exhibits problem solving abilities
Sample Projects:
DGCX project is an initiative of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC). The project started in 2019 in which Nasdaq will provide a new Enterprise solution based on the NFF platform. This new platform will be built based on several products including NRTC as the central clearing system in the solution.
