Therefore Minesto now wishes to strengthen the team with one Technical Project Manager for the up scaling and product development, and one Technical Project Manager for the technology development of the concept.
Continuous technology development of the Deep Green concept together with up scaling of the DGO and product development of the DGU will be time-limited processes and involve technical, organizational, and economical issues. Minesto navigates in unknown waters, both literally and figuratively. The Technical Project Manager will have a key role for the success of the project. The person who possesses the role as Technical Project Manager for DGU should therefore have extensive experience in project management. The person who possesses the role as Technical Project Manager for DGO should have extensive experience in the Deep Green technology. The positions are challenging and you will be working with our highly educated and skilled personnel in a good collaborative environment with a cutting edge marine energy technology.
Responsibilities and tasks
As Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for leading the projects assigned to you and to secure a successful outcome of invested resources.
The project manager reports progress to the various stakeholders of Minesto both internally and externally.
The primary task of the Technical Project Manager is to lead the project organization by planning, managing and delivering the goals for the project.
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for delivering project results on time with agreed quality, cost and features according to requested specification while aligning with changing overall business goals of Minesto.
The Technical Project Manager fulfills assigned projects targets established by the project management board.
The Project Manager provides timely communications and solutions for important issues to ensure optimum and efficient product and technology development.
The Technical Project Manager coordinates the sub-projects to ensure the overall project plan is achieved as committed and manages risks and unforeseen events.
The Technical Project Manager ensures that required resources are available, committed, manage any conflicts within the project and negotiate solutions as needed.
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the documentation of the project.
Personal Attributes
At least 10 years or more of experience and a proven track record of repeated success in project management
Experience from leading the development of prototypes and products that contain embedded systems
Practical and pragmatic problem solver with ability to make things happen, decisive and determined to follow through with change initiatives
Results-oriented, energetic and flexible demonstrating high standard of professionalism
Strong interpersonal/relationship building skills and committed team player with proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relations
Confident, reliable and inspired by working in a fast and changing international environment
Proven communication skills and ability to work in a diverse cross-functional team
Communicate fluently in speech and writing in both Swedish and English
MSc in engineerin or equivalent with formal project management training.
