Our department for Transmission Engineering is in an expansive phase with new interesting projects in the field of hybridization and electrical vehicles and in-house development for Electric transmissions. We are therefore searching for a creative First Analysis Engineer with high focus on execution to be responsible to perform testing for Housing, Gears, Shafts, Sealing, Oil and Parking Break in the Electric Front and Rear Axle Drive Transmissions.

What you will do.

As a First Analysis Engineer you will belong to a group of more than 20 experienced engineers ranging from the age of 25 to 65 years old and with different types of national and cultural backgrounds. Your work is mainly carried out in Gothenburg with in-house testing, but some travels are required. The role itself is both challenging and rewarding as we are always working towards new technologies, as well as value people who can come up with new innovative ideas to see how they can be implemented.


Some of your main responsibilities, besides the scope of work mentioned above, will be to:
* Prepare, plan and perform tests and measurements in bench and vehicle.
* Analyze data, write reports, communicate test results and propose solution.
* Contribute to up-to-date requirements and input to design changes according to findings in testing.
* Follow up testing at both internal and external test laboratories.
* Develop new test methods and new test beds.
* Follow market trends within measurement technology and make sure latest measurement technique is used for testing.

Do you fit the profile?
We would like for someone with at least a couple of years of related experience. The job would require you to have excellent writing skills in English due to frequency of writing reports and making presentations.

Required qualifications:
* B.Sc or higher within Mechanical engineering or a similar education.
* Experience of development testing in test bench.

Meritorious qualifications:
* Experience of work within material technique such as metallic materials, polymeric materials and transmission oils.
* Experience of measurement technology, for example INCA and CANalyzer and; instruments for measurements such as Strain Gauges, Pressure gauges etcetera.
* Work experience within product development such as component design or CAE and work with prototype development, preferably within the transmission area.
* Basic electrical architecture knowledge in vehicle preferable also high voltage systems.
