The Business Unit has four business lines; Managed services, Consulting and systems integration, Product related services and Broadcast services.
We are looking for a Service Portfolio Director within Managed Services who will play a significant role in advancing the portfolio area of Wireline networks.
The candidate will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of the global market, the technology trends, CSP challenges and consumer expectations in order to drive business development. They will possess a very high degree of customer focus, innovative thinking and have a track record of setting and delivering to high standards.
Your main areas of responsibility:
• You will focus on innovating and developing the offering within the area of Wireline networks, addressing our customer needs and grow MS sales in this domain.
• Development of the Wireline services portfolio including collaborating on the strategy, positioning and business development. You will be expected to propose portfolio plans; maximizing our profitability aligned with our global MS strategy for Wireline.
• The further development of business models, defining pricing models and proposing investment budget. You will be expected to manage aspects of the Wireline services lifecycle and roadmaps.
• The role will require you to work closely with sales expertise and our customers in co-developing attractive and profitable solutions within Wireline networks. This entails a responsibility to transform knowledge from customer engagements into development of our Wireline portfolio, as well as acting and responding to customer feedback.
Replicating Wireline solutions from successful engagements enabling industrialization of our offerings and work closely with the SD&O organization in defining the delivery competence and solutions.
Actively communicating and educating the regions in the services portfolio of Wireline and lead processes for best-practices and knowledge sharing.
Cross-unit collaboration within Business Units and Regions.
You will be expected to travel and work in different cultural environments.
Your background:
• BSc. or Business Degree or equivalent experience (a combination of Engineering and Business degree is preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of experience working with in the telecoms industry with focus on outsourcing businesses.
• Delivery experience within Wireline networks is necessary.
• Experience from leading solution development and managing services portfolio within the telecoms domain, including experience from industrializing a service offering.
• Demonstrable ability to engage with C-level. Expert in listening, scoping and expanding customer issue into business opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to analyse and translate customer needs into concrete revenue offerings from a Managed Services perspective.
