We are looking for a Global Material Coordinator for our group "Supply Chain Management - Digital Units" within the organization PIM RBS Kista/SPM Digital/SCM Digital.

SPM (Supply Product Management) Digital has the complete product lifecycle responsibility of assigned products in the supply chain. Assigned products are the Digital Units. The organization is accountable for the performance of the products within the global supply chain, through their lifetime ensuring that the supply chain meets the Capacity, Flexibility, Quality and Cost requirements. SPM Digital has the Supply Chain Lead and Product Lead responsibility. The assignment is received from central Supply Chain Lead (within RACO Supply).

SCM (Supply Chain Management) ? Performs Tactical dimensioning of capacity and capabilities in the global supply chain including ESS and EMS for Digital products. Supply Chain Management also secures the global short term delivery capability of the global supply chain.

GMC (Global Material Coordinator) supports our production sites, EMS & ESS, with solving inbound material constraints by working with escalations, spot buys and allocation of the constraining inbound material to maintain production globally in near time period 1-12 weeks. The GMC works closely with the Capability Planners; proactively gathering, analyzing and providing supply information regarding gating components to meet actual and forecasted supply chain demands.

As Global Material Coordinator your task will be to work globally with Inbound Supply Early Warning, Escalation- & Allocation Process in close dialogue with concerned stakeholders; mainly Inbound Supply organization (Supply Operations Manager), ESS and EMS sites. You are one of the main contributors to the Inbound Capability Forum (ICF); a X-PA virtual network for the DU product scope.

Responsibilities & Tasks:
Handle and analyse internal (ESS) and external (EMS) help requests for material constraints. Also be the escalation point for ESS & EMS sites, and upon need escalate true constraints to drivers at Inbound Supply (also summarize and present material status at weekly Top Constraints meetings with Inbound Supply)
Increase visibility and control of DU global material constraints
Be an enabler for better allocation underlay and decisions together with Inbound Supply & Demand Planning
If when needed initiate redesign or qualification of alternative components/suppliers with respective design unit
Initiate/request exemptions when needed. Request goes to Product Change Leader
Together with Capability Planner; prepare decision material for Prio Board, and present material status at the weekly alignment meetings between ESS and EMS sites
