We are now looking for a Embedded Software Engineers for development of Vehicle Control Unit!
Description
We are looking for innovative embedded software developers that can join the team that develops the software for our Vehicle Control Unit. The Vehicle Control Unit will host the majority of the vehicle level application software. The first tasks for the team includes analysis, design and development of a proof of concept, such that we can learn and adapt our solutions before we go for industrialization. The work will include both software development at application level, as well as configuration and adaptation of the software platform.
Previous experience from embedded software development, hypervisors, real-time operating systems or continuous integration is great.
You will be part of the Chapter Infotainment, HMI and Body Software, which is one of four teams within the Software Tribe. Our aim is to develop embedded software solutions for software platforms, gateways, body control functionalities, remote services and infotainment systems.
You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.
We will ensure that you will have opportunities to grow and take on new challenges!
The role involves:
- Software Development
- Evaluation of Software Architecture Design solutions
- Software Development, C, C++
- Continuous Integration Configuration of SW platforms and RTOS
- Maintaining and developing software development environments
- Requirements identification and analysis
- Collaboration with NEVS engineers at different departments and locations
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree
- Coding skills
- Previous experience from embedded software development
- Ability to share her or his expertise to colleagues
- Fluent in English both spoken and written

Terms
NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
