Are you looking to extend your career within software development, working with tomorrows technology such as Smart mobile broadband and next generation RBS?
Common Transport Feature (CTF) within Design Unit Radio provides Ericsson with a next generation product which today is the foundation in our successful LTE, WCDMA and MGW solutions. The CTF is a global organization with people in Sweden, China, Croatia, Poland and Russia.
IP transport technology is a key area for Ericssons Radio networks solutions; CTF is responsible for requirement area (RA) Transport which provides common IP transport feature for all Ericsson Radio network solution.
Currently, our main focus is on next generation RBS (DUS Gen 2) and Smart mobile broadband (SMBB).
Within the SMBB project; CTF provides applications with smart functionality such as Bandwidth-, content- and TCP accelerations; Video optimization; Caching; Support for 3rd part SW -Distributed cloud; Intelligent traffic steering- 3GPP and Wi-Fi.
The next generation RBS (DUS Gen 2) development enables Ericsson to provide real multi-standard RBS covering LTE, WCDMA and GSM.
To achieve these goals we must strengthen our organization with excellent SW developers. We not only offer the most challenging software development opportunity; we also offer work in the most important software in the Radio Transport Networks.
Since we deliver the same SW to all, we focus a lot on software architecture, Continuous integration, Automatic tests, and Continuous delivery.
We are organized in XFTs where we aim to be part of a whole feature flow, from Continuous Analysis to having a product working in field.
Job description
As a SW developer, you will participate in system studies and implement system functions according to requirements, including coding, feature testing, and design documentation.
As a SW developer you will get the chance to work with developing IP security, IP routing, IP forwarding, virtualization functionality, distributed cloud, virtual switching (Open vSwitch), Intel x86 (multicore), LSI AXM(multicore), Linux, Data Plane acceleration (DPDK) and OpenFlow.
Education
Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent formal education with experience in software programming
Qualifications
You have:
Experience in C and C++ programming.
Experience in function testing
Experience in IP and telecommunication.
Required competence in our teams:
You contribute with competence in one or several of the following areas:
SW system design
Test automation, preferably using JCAT
Version Control Tool (GIT)
Code Analyze Tools (Purify, Lint, Coverity)
Embedded SW and threading
Working with Agile/Lean methods,
As a person:

You are a self-driven and energetic team player.
