PDU Multiscreen Clients is part of SA Media within Business Unit Support Solutions (BUSS). The unit, located in Stockholm and Shanghai, is responsible for development of client products for Ericsson's Multiscreen TV solutions. Our products are targeted for any device - Set-top-box, PC, Tablet and Smartphone - and are being used by millions of end users all over the world.

In order to meet the challenges of the demanding television and media market we are now looking for a highly motivated and competent System Developer to strengthen our Multiscreen TV Systems Management team in Stockholm. You will be part of a team of experienced and highly competent people who drive the evolution of our Multiscreen Client portfolio, in close cooperation to SW developers, product managers, innovation and research teams.

Work tasks include:

• Performing pre-studies on new features
• Requirements break-down
• Participate in innovation and demo development activities
• Support development teams with expertise knowledge in the client area
• Staying on top of the industry development within media clients area
• Develop client product strategies together with product management

Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science or similar
• Extensive professional experience in client technologies on an overall level
• Extensive professional experience in client product development with related technologies such as HTML5/CSS, Android and iOS
• Experience in related technologies such as media streaming, DRM, etc
• Experience in client development way of working from visual design to system integration and verification
• Experience in using third party or open source software
• Comfortable with working both on power point level as well as with hands-on SW development and trouble shooting
• Experience and understanding of Multiscreen TV products and solutions
• Easy going member in system and development teams
